Arielle Jacobs, Rebecca Luker, Jason Forbach and More Featured on OVERTURE Album

Composers Daniel and Laura Curtis today further announced an array of Broadway and West End names who will feature on their OVERTURE album.

These include Melinda Doolittle (American Idol), Jason Forbach (Les Miserables), Kara Lily Hayworth (Zyrah Rose), Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, Wicked), Rachel John (Memphis, The Bodyguard), Rebecca Luker (Fun Home, Cinderella) and Natalie Weiss (Les Miserables).

The double disk album is available for pre-order from today. To celebrate the launch Daniel and Laura will be offering signed copies to all those who pre-order through their website www.danandlauracurtis.com.

The album will become available to pre-order from iTunes and Amazon Mp3 in September and will be released on October 24th.

Speaking about the album, Daniel Curtis said, "The production of this album has been a wonderful challenge in trying to capture and understand the elements of musical theatre that fans cherish, then putting that into a powerful new score which seeks to emanate the very spirit of Broadway. We're working to present the best loved voices of the West End and Broadway in a way that represents the melting pot of styles that exists in musical theatre today."

Premiere Classe Productions have announced that New York's Metropolitan Room will host their concert of the composer's work on 17th October. 'The Songs of Daniel and Laura Curtis' will feature a number of special Broadway guests including a selection of original artists from the new album. Most recently Daniel and Laura worked with Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz to release the single 'Standing On My Own' and launch the Your Voice Competition in aid of the Kindred Foundation for Adoption.
