Ari Shaffir will appear at Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square from today, January 29 - February 1, 2014.
Stand-up comedian and actor Ari Shaffir describes his comedy as a puppet show, but way filthier and without the puppets. He was a featured stand-up on the HBO comedy series Down and Dirty with Jim Norton and has performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and Toronto, the San Francisco SketchFest, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland. Shaffir's satirical shorts "The Amazing Racist" for National Lampoon were a viral sensation garnering millions of views.
Additionally, he has appeared on TBS's Conan, Comedy Central's Jon Benjamin Has A Van, ESPN Classic's Cheap Seats, and dozens of national commercials. Ari hosts the increasingly popular podcast The Skeptic Tank and is a regular guest on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. He is also the host of a new series called This Is Not Happening, by Comedy Central's CC Studios wing, which focuses on true stories as told by comedians. The stories weave together to form one giant gelatinous ball of epicness.
Be sure to catch Ari's brand new hour-long comedy special, Ari Shaffir: Passive Aggressive, now available for purchase.
