Ari Axelrod in TAKING THE WHEEL at Feinstein's/54 Below

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Ari Axelrod in Taking the Wheel on March 10th, 2017. Featuring the music of Cole Porter to Carole King, Leonard Bernstein to John Bucchino, Ari Axelrod's Taking the Wheel "unfailingly engaging and intelligent" (KDHX St. Louis) story of one Jewish man, happily a passenger in life's normal journey, who is thrust into the driver's seat when he encounters unforeseen twists and turns. Making his Feinstein's/54 Below debut following sold-out performances in St. Louis, Ari Axelrod's moving, coming-of-age story is directed by Tony Award winner Faith Prince with music direction by multiple MAC Award winner Alex Rybeck. George Simon serves as general manager for the concert.

Ari is thrilled to be making his Feinstein's/54 Below debut. Off-Broadway credits include Milk and Honey at the York Theatre. Other New York credits: The Bishops in the Fresh Grind Festival directed by Adam Quinn (Dear Evan Hansen), Two Conceive in the Venus Adonis Theatre Festival, and Ciao Bambino in the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Regional credits include: One Man Two Guvnors (St. Louis Rep) and Assassins (Encore Musical Theatre Company.) Ari is from Ann Arbor, Michigan and recently graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
