It chronicles her life and journey as a ventriloquist and someone who has been outspoken about her identity up to this point. April Brucker takes you on a journey as to what it was like to get her first ventriloquist figure for Christmas, performing in nursing homes for dementia patients as a teenager, and doing a special appearance at Hospital for Sick Children during SARS.
Additionally, April also touches on her painful engagement, rebounding back to what she loved, her adventures working with puppets, but also what men say on a first date.
