According to Variety, Apple is continuing its series-programming slate adding its first animated show CENTRAL PARK. This musical comedy from BOB'S BURGERS creator Loren Bouchard has been ordered for two seasons. CENTRAL PARK will be written by Bouchard, Broadway/TV favorite Josh Gad, and Nora Smith.
CENTRAL PARK the story of how a family of caretakers, who live and work in Central Park, end up saving the park, and basically the world.
The series, produced by 20th Century FOX Television stars Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Tituss Burgess, Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs, and Kathryn Hahn. Bouchard and Gad will executive produce, along with Smith serving as consulting producer. Apple has ordered two 13-episode seasons of the musical comedy series.
Recently, Apple has ordered several series, including a morning-show drama from Jennifer Anniston and Reese Witherspoon, a drama from Oscar winner Damian Chazelle, and a drama based on the early life and career of Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant.
