According to BBC News, the winner of the popular UK reality talent search "Any Dream Will Do," now airing on BBC 1, will appear in London's Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium on July 1st - a few days before the London revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat begins previews.

The summer charity concert will mark Princess Diana's 46th birthday, as well as the 10th anniversary of her tragic death.  Diana's sons, Princes William and Harry, arranged the concert, which will also feature stars and bands such as Elton John, Rod Stewart and Duran Duran.  Webber (The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita, London The Sound of Music revival co-producer), who is in charge of a 20-minute slot within the concert, stated that "Any Dream Will Do" was one of Diana's favorite songs.

The title role of Webber's revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is being cast through TV's "Any Dream Will Do."  The musical will begin previews on July 6th and open on July 18th at the Adelphi Theatre.  The show is booking through January 5th.

"Any Dream Will Do," on which Webber is a judge, also began airing on BBC One, Saturday, March 31st at 7:45 PM.  The panel of "Any Dream Will Do" also features Denise Van Outen (Chicago on the West End, "Grease: You're the One That I Want" co-host), West End and Broadway star John Barrowman (Putting It Together), producer Bill Kenwright and voice coach Zoe Tyler.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, with music by Lloyd Webber and lyrics and book by Tim Rice, is a light-hearted reimagining of the biblical tale of Joseph, who is betrayed by his 11 brothers but finds a happy ending after adventures in Egypt.  The staging of the West End revival will be based upon that of Steven Pimlott's 1991 production.
