Hotly anticipated Spring new musical entry If/Then will be highlighted by a talkback with the show's creators and one of its stars tomorrow, according to a new listing.
Composer Tom Kitt, lyricist and bookwriter Brian Yorkey and If/Then headliner Anthony Rapp will join in conversation about the contemporary musical at the Greene Space with moderator Elliott Forrest this February.
The official description of the If/Then talkback is as follows: "Join us for an inside look at "If/Then" with members of the cast and creative team behind this new musical coming to Broadway this spring. WQXR's Elliott Forrest sits down with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning songwriting team behind "Next to Normal"; director Michael Greiff; and actor Anthony Rapp (original cast of "Rent") to get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the musical. "If/Then" is a contemporary musical that follows a woman as she rebuilds her life in New York, a city of endless possibilities. It's set at the intersection of choice and chance, where the road you take meets the road you didn't. This event is part of our Inside Look series of conversations and backstage videos that take you behind the curtain of the season's most anticipated Broadway shows."
Of note, the If/Then talkback at the Greene Space will occur tomorrow, February 3.
