Anonymous Ensemble's I Land is a live film drawn from the lives and imagination of the audience. The Ensemble guides the audience through an exploration of the terrains of their individual memories that unfolds into an impressionistic film of the audience's collective narrative, using Anonymous Ensemble's signature real-time video wizardry. Each performance is a unique event.

Anonymous Ensemble strives to engender a new form of audience experience that encompasses the immediacy of live performance, the fluidity of film, and is profoundly interactive. They ask how the live audience can be co-creators of each performance event and value creating community through explorations of thehuman condition, collective storytelling, and the limitless possibilities of imagination.

I Land is created and performed by the Anonymous Ensemble, whose members include Eamonn Farrell, Jessica Weinstein, Liz Davito, Lucy Kendrick Smith, Tim Lueke, and Lucrecia Briceno.

Anonymous Ensemble (AnEn) first became known as creators of the "The Best," an episodic, intermedia, post-
punk spectacle which performed all over NYC from 2003 to 2008 and in Brisbane and Berlin in 2006. AnEn achieved further international acclaim with their wildly interactive 'dance party' called "Wanderlust," which premiered in New York in 2007, played the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008, and toured Norway and the UK in 2009 with a critically acclaimed London premiere. In 2010, AnEn planted in Greece to investigate American cultural imperialism with their their bilingual Rebetiko/Rock Doc called "The Return" which premiered the following year at the Roes Theatre in Athens. Also in 2011, AnEn developed the first act of "The Turing Opera" with the experimental wing of the National Opera of Greece. In 2012, AnEn created a "live film" love affair with an audience called "LIEBE LOVE AMOUR!," which premiered in NYC and then toured the East Coast. In early 2013, AnEn began developing "I Land" with a residency at NC Stage in Asheville, NC. The piece was further developed with workshops in the Ice Factory Festival and at Princeton University. In 2014, AnEn will premiere "I Land" at Incubator Arts and then create "The Dreamsphere," an interactive, live and mediated experience that will reinvent how humans relate to their dreams. AnEn creates work that defies categorization and is technologically complex while remaining large in heart and soul.

Incubator Arts Project cultivates and presents a multi-generational community of artists who challenge the conventions of live performance by producing original work at St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery. IAP programs provide access to a fully equipped venue along with personalized career support and strategic investment of resources individually tailored to the needs of each artist.

By providing production opportunities for emerging to mid-career artists, Incubator Arts Project functions as a training ground where formative repertoire is conceived and new work can be constructed as each participant's artistic voice develops a distinct style. In addition to offering artists exclusive access to a theater, technical assistance and administrative support, staff provides professional mentoring and advisement to assist in the process of making well-considered choices in support of artists' long-term stability and success during all stages of their careers.

Core programs include the New Performance Series, Other Forces, Music and Short Form. Incubator Arts Project is fiscally managed by Performing Artservices Inc., a New York based non-profit arts organization, and is artistically led by a team of curators who collectively make programmatic, artistic and organizational decisions: Travis Just, Samara Naeymi, Daniel Nelson, Brendan Regimbal and Shannon Sindelar.

Incubator Arts Project was originally known as the Incubator and began in 2006 as a program of Richard Foreman's legendary Ontological-Hysteric Theater. Since then, it has presented award-winning work by artists including: Alec Duffy, Banana Bag & Bodice, Debate Society, 31 Down, Daniel Fish, Half-Straddle, Karinne Keithley, Object Collection, Vampire Cowboys, and Witness Relocation. Incubator artists have seen their work tour nationally and internationally and go on to Off-Broadway runs.

I LAND will play at Incubator Arts Project inside St. Mark's Church from January 31 to February 9. General admission tickets are $18 and student tickets are $14. Tickets can be purchased in advance at incubatorarts.org, or by calling TheaterMania at 212-352-3101.
