New York Pinewoods Folk Music Club and the Hebrew Tabernacle sponsor a singing party, Sunday, March 11 from 2 to 5 PM, in Washington Heights led by folk singer, Anne Price.  Relax and listen, tap your feet, join in on choruses, play a tune, or lead a song or two. Meet neighbors and fellow folkies and roots music enthusiasts.

Bring your voices, instruments, songs, family, friends and a dairy or vegetarian snack to share. All are welcome. A voluntary donation of $3-$5 to defray the cost of the hall will be appreciated.

Anne Price is praised for her rich expressive voice and sensitive accompaniments to folk ballads, country songs, songs of the sea, cowboy songs, songs about work and the labor movement, love songs, and songs she has written.  Her warmth and love of music encourage everyone to sing.

The party will be in the Social Hall of the Hebrew Tabernacle, 551 Fort Washington Avenue at 185th Street. Take the A train to 181st Street or the M4 bus to Ft. Washington Ave & 185th St. Information: call 212-947-0565 or 917-843-1624 or e-mail mark.hamburgh2@verizon.net.
