Career Transition For Dancers' 28th Anniversary Jubilee BROADWAY & BEYOND! Celebrating Theatre & Dance presented by ROLEX - will take place on Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 at 7pm at New York City Center, 131 West 55 Street (btwn. 6th & 7th Ave) NYC.

The Rolex Dance Award will be given to Ann-Margret. The super-star is a two time Academy Award Nominee, winner of 5 Golden Globes, Emmy Award winner and a Grammy Nominee.

Broadway is truly an American form of entertainment. BROADWAY & BEYOND! not only brings to life the magic of theatre, but emphasizes the universal scope of dance in pop culture. This event features electrifying appearances by today's best talent in theatre and dance. This one-night-only event* will feature show-stopping performances from Broadway shows such as A CHORUS LINE, DAMN YANKEES, and TAP DANCE KID, and others. There will be special performances by artists from American Repertory Ballet; Broadway Dance Lab; Cirque du Soleil; Dresden Semperoper Ballett; New York Song & Dance Company; Parelle Exit; Rosie's Theater Kids; World Cup All Star Cheerleading; with Benois de la Danse Winner; a world premiere from SMASH choreographer Josh Bergasse; the Jubilee Orchestra and others. The show is produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo. *program and artists subject to change

The 28th Anniversary Chairs are Anka K. Palitz, and Susan & Stewart Wicht. Patron tickets are $600, $750 and $1,200 each. Tables for 10 start at $7,500. Patron tickets and tables include premium performance seating, post-performance 'Supper with the Stars,' dancing and a live auction at The Grand Ballroom at the Hilton New York. Career Transition For Dancers, with offices in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago, has helped over 5,800 professional dancers identify their unique talents in preparation for establishing new careers when dance is no longer an option. Since its founding in 1985, the organization has provided 60,000 hours (equivalent to $7.8 million) of one-on-one career counseling and program services - at no cost - and has awarded over $5 million in scholarships for education, entrepreneurial grants, and certification programs.
