Ann Hampton Callaway & Cady Huffman Will Host CANY's 2015 THEATER & THERAPY Gala

Creative Alternatives of New York (CANY) is bringing together Broadway's finest to help raise funds for its programs that use drama therapy to empower children and adults who have endured trauma to rebuild their lives.

This year's 2015 Annual "Theater & Therapy" Gala will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 in The Manhattan Ballroom at the Grand Hyatt Hotel (109 East 42nd Street) and be co-hosted by Broadway veteran Ann Hampton Callaway and Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman. The 2015 Honorees are: Suzzanne Douglas, actress and patron of the arts, who will receive the Leadership Award for Arts & Healing, presented by Golden Globe, Emmy and SAG Award winner S. Epatha Merkerson; and David McCorkle, social worker and CANY Board Member, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by art collector and curator Beth Rudin DeWoody.

Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, appetizers and silent auction. Dinner, show and live auction start at 7:30 p.m. and will include performances from Broadway's finest.
