Brielle Silvestri and Ray DeJohn will present Love Me Like This: The Parachute Plays. An Evening of Theatre in Support of LGBTQ Youth.

The evening will consist of original LGBTQ-themed works with proceeds to benefit The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. The playwrights for the short plays are Ian August, Ken Urban, J.T. Michael Taylor, Kevin R. Free, Joshua Conkel, and Clay McLeod Chapman. Each short will have a specific director: Gretchen Ferris, Darren Katz, Scott Ebersold, Christopher Burris, and Moritz von Stuelpnagel. Actors include: Adam Chanler-Berat ("next to normal," "Peter and the Starcatcher"), Andrew Kober ("Hair") and three of Les Cagelles from "La Cage aux Folles:" Sean Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Cunningham, and Logan Kesler. Other actors included in the staged readings are Bobby Moreno, Andy Phelan, Romy Nordlinger, Christopher Stokes, Michael Sutherland, Logan Ford, Stacy Ayn Price, Erin Mallon, John-Andrew Morrison, Shydel James, and Tracey Lee.

Creator and Co-Producer Brielle Silvestri states: "This was important to me because I feel it gives us an outlet to respond to the issues creatively while establishing a proactive environment for our audience; by simply participating in this event and paying the price of a ticket, our audience will be showing their support for these young people and making a collective statement that we care."

The evening will take place one night only, Monday, March 14th 2011 at 7:30pm at St. Luke's Theatre 308 W 46th St, New York, NY.

Tickets are $18 and are on sale now at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/159495 or 1-800-838-3006.
