Anderson, with Guest Star Allen, Performs in NJ, Dec. 30

Broadway star Nancy Anderson will headline "A Blairstown Holiday Spectacular: Bach to Broadway" in Blairstown, NJ on Saturday, December 30th at 8 PM.  Glenn Seven Allen will be her special guest vocalist.

The concert will feature the Baroque Orchestra of North New Jersey, with Robert W. Butts as conductor.

Anderson is a two time Drama Desk nominee for her work as the title character in the Off-Broadway productions of Fanny Hill and as all of the women in Jolson & Co. In 2002 she was honored with an Olivier Award nomination and a Helen Hayes Award nomination for her work as Bianca/Lois in Kiss Me Kate, also seen on PBS and available on DVD.  On Broadway, she has appeared as Helen (and later Eileen) in Wonderful Town and Mona in A Class Act.

Allen has appeared on Broadway in The Light in the Piazza, Off-Broadway in A Fine and Private Place, and most recently, as Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret at Arena Stage.  Allen recently performed in "Broadway High Note" at the Minetta Lane Theatre.   He has also appeared in the Ars Nova Broadway Spotlight series with his concert "Too Legit!," as well as at Lincoln Center's American Songbook Series, Symphony Space, the American Historical Society, and Joe's Pub.  He also  performed in CAP21's concert reading of Carousel.
