Anderson, Cobey et al. Set for American Musicals Project in March

Casting has been announced for several upcoming productions from the American Musicals Project. The group will hold productions of Fiorello! on March 1st, Oklahoma!/Paint Your Wagon on March 8th, "From On the Town to South Pacific" on March 15th, and The American Musicals Project Annual Gala Benefit's production of Show Boat on March 22nd.

The first production in the season will begin March 1st with Fiorello! by Harnick and Bock. Harnick will host the evening, which will feature a cast including Kate Baldwin, Robert Creighton, John Jellison, and Megan Sikora.

The second production will feature songs from two different classic Broadway musicals. The concert will feature songs from Oklahoma! and Paint Your Wagon. The cast for the evening will feature George Dvorsky, Jessica Kostival, Michele Ragusa, and Graham Rowat, and will include direction by Gary John LaRosa and musical direction by Bob Bray. In addition, the evening will be hosted by president of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization, Ted Chapin.

Howard Kissel will host an evening feature songs from On the Town to South Pacific. Cast will be announced at a later date.

The final production of the season will take place at the American Musicals Project Gala Benefit. The evening will feature a production of Show Boat by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammestein. The cast will include Nancy Anderson, Catherine Bruanell, Derrick Cobey, and Kevin Earley, and will be directed by James Brennan.

Tickets for the performances are available for $45 for the first three performances, and $75 to $500 for the Benefit Gala. Tickets for the concerts are available by calling 212-873-3400, ext. 305.
