Ana Gesteyer in Creation Nation at Ars Nova March 28

Ars Nova (voted "Best of New York" by New York Magazine), presents CREATION NATION, a live theater talk show that combines original comedy sketches, musical numbers and a special guest appearance by Saturday Night Live's Ana Gesteyer. Directed by Benjamin Salka, CREATION NATION plays Monday, March 28th at 9:30 PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street).

CREATION NATION is a unique comedy event; a pop culture infused, socio-political variety show that combines topical comedy sketches, original musical numbers, video segments, stand-up comedy, and live guest interviews. "Hilarious… This one is not to be missed." (Gotham Magazine)

The show features an ongoing relationship drama between its host, "Billy Willing" (Billy Eichner) and his male sidekick, "Robin Lord" (Robin Taylor). "Lord" is a blonde, straight-acting, Abercrombie-clad 26-year-old actor who makes his living playing teenage roles in tv commercials and soap operas. As the show progresses, Billy struggles with greater difficulty to hide and "talk around" the true nature of his relationship with Robin. This romantic and sexual conflict is written into the comedy sketches and aims to be simultaneously satirical and heartfelt. In addition to the patter between the host and his sidekick, the comedy of the show changes periodically in order to reflect current events and changing social, cultural, and political trends.
