An Ozark Mountain Christmas Opens Off-Bway Dec. 7

Le Wilhelm's An Ozark Mountain Christmas, directed by Merry Beamer with musical direction by Kristin Carter, will open at the PCII Theatre Thursday, December 7th at 8 pm. 

A New York holiday tradition for close to twenty years, An Ozark Mountain Christmas, a combination of six short vignettes and plays, is a light-hearted look at the Christmas season in Wilhelm's native Ozark Mountains. The show will be presented by Love Creek Productions.

The show features a cast of 17 including Jenny Bechem, John Borras, Deb DeCaro, Mary Jane Gocher, Tim Hayes, Ron Hirt, A.C. Jermayn, Mark Kinch, Claudia Luongo, Vivian Neuwirth, Paul Nicosia, Ann Parker, Nicholas Quinn, Serafin Rivera, Gabrielle Rosen, Jaclyn Sokol, Lizzie Schwarz and Kymm Zuckert.

Wilhelm's other works include Eight Plays from the Heartland, Missouri Trilogy and the short play 5:15 Greyhound. He was the recipient of the Florida Council of the Arts grant.  Currently, Wilhelm is finishing Countess Dracula, and is doing research on Degas and Berthe Morosot for a pending project. 

Performances runs Tuesdays through Friday at 8pm, Saturdays at 3 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays at 3pm.  Sunday December 17th will be at 7 pm only.  All tickets are $18.00.  For reservations and information please call (212)769-7973.
