Amy Schumer paid a visit to Broadway's hit show Hamilton on Saturday and left a lasting impression on more than just the cast members whom she visited backstage.
The comic showed her appreciation to a lucky group of bartenders at the Richard Rodgers Theater, leaving a $1,000 tip on a mere $77 cocktail bill during the show's intermission.
"I was very touched, it was just something so generous and so kind that you don't see every day," Madeleine DeJohn, an aspiring actor and bartender at the theater, told the Daily News. After DeJohn thanked the 'Trainwreck' star for her generosity, Schumer replied, "I've been there, I get it."
According to The News, this was the not the first time the Comedy Central star left a mega-tip for a hard working bartender. The last time she was at the theater she left an $80 tip on a $40 bill!
