American Theatre Wing's WORKING IN THE THEATRE Series Scores 2016 Webby Award Nomination

The American Theatre Wing (Heather Hitchens, President and CEO) is thrilled to announce that its legendary, long running, and completely revamped web series, "Working in the Theatre" has been nominated for a 2016 Webby Award for Online Film & Video - Documentary: Series. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 26th, with the 20th Annual Webby Awards to be held in May 2016.

The online public also chooses The Webby People's Voice Winners by casting ballots for their favorite Nominees during the annual voting period, now through Friday, April 22nd at 3:00AM EST (12:00AM Midnight PST), at the Webby Award website: https://pv.webbyawards.com/2016/online-film-video/general-film/documentary-series

The Webby Awards is the Internet's most respected symbol of success. The 20th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from nearly all 50 states and 65 countries worldwide. Webby Winners are selected by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a global organization of industry experts and technology innovators.
