The American Theatre Wing has announced the dates of its fall Working in the Theatre seminars. However, the topics and panelists have not yet been decided upon.
With the famed seminars currently on summer hiatus, the new season will be launched on Thursday, September 15th, with discussions to follow on Thursday, October 27th, Friday, November 4th and Thursday, December 8th. All seminars are held at 12:00 noon at the CUNY Graduate Center (365 Fifth Avenue at 34th Street) The American Theatre Wings' Working in the Theatre seminars receive major support from the Annenberg Foundation and the Dorothy Strelsin Foundation."Now in their 31st year, the Seminars are being held throughout the year in cooperation with Continuing Education and Public Programs at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. The panels bring together theatre's best-known performers, producers, playwrights, directors, choreographers, composers, agents and others," according to a press article.The Working in the Theatre series is broadcast five times a week on CUNY-TV (Time Warner channel 75): Fridays at 9 AM, 2 PM, 7 PM; Saturday at 11 AM and Sunday at 5 PM as well as on RCN (either Channel 24, 106 or 109, depending upon area). Leadership support for the American Theatre Wing Seminars is provided by The Annenberg Foundation and The Dorothy Strelsin Foundation.
