AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY OPEN TODAY
Enjoy your snow day exploring the brain, with dinosaurs, or in deep space.
The American Museum of Natural History is the perfect place for families to spend their snow day, and is open today with regular hours of 10 am to 5:45 pm.
Visit the Museum's special exhibition Brain: The Inside Story to take an unprecedented journey through the essential bundle of neurons that is the human brain. See Tibetan monks build a "Medicine Buddha" sand mandala one grain of sand at a time and learn traditional Tibetan chants. Or visit the Museum's beloved permanent halls - from dinosaurs to deep space.
Due to inclement weather there may be changes in some of the regularly scheduled programs and visitors are asked to use the Museum's Rose Center - 81st Street entrance.
To plan your visit, or for more information on specific programs, go to the Museum's website www.amnh.org. Regular updates will also be posted on the Museum's Facebook page (facebook.com/natural history) and Twitter account (@amnh).
