American Ballet Theatre has named Ina Clark to the position of Director of Development. The appointment, effective immediately, was announced today by Executive Director Rachel S. Moore.

Ms. Clark previously held the position of Senior Director of Development and Communications for The Actors Fund in New York from 2005 through 2009. During her term at The Actors Fund, Ms. Clark led a team that increased contributed income by 41% and instituted new planned giving, foundation, major gift and online fundraising programs. She has previously held positions in development, advertising and marketing for Sesame Workshop, the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, City Center, the MTA and Ogilvy & Mather. She is a voting member of Manhattan Community Board 5 and a member of the Board of Directors for Parsons Dance Company and the Advisory Board for the York Theatre Company.

"I am delighted to announce this appointment," said Rachel S. Moore. "Ina comes to ABT with a broad range of experience in the fields of fundraising and marketing, as well as dance. I am confident that Ina will be a great addition to ABT's administrative team."

Based in New York City, The American Ballet Theatre was one of the foremost ballet companies of the 20th century. It continues as a leading dance company in the world today.
