Kirkland Arts Center is pleased to announce Amanda Reeves as its development director! Amanda joined the KAC development team in 2017 and is eager to continue supporting KAC's growth, stewarding the new vision in KAC's 2019-2023 strategic plan "The Power of Art". In her role as development manager, Amanda oversaw the successful production of Kirkland Arts Center's gala, which raised $185,000 for education programs last year.

Kelly Dylla, executive director, is enthusiastic about this appointment. "Amanda has a selfless passion for helping everyone to see the value of community arts - not just for students attending classes, but for the public to enjoy events in our gallery and around the Eastside. She has a unique understanding and commitment to community arts engagement. I look forward to her deepening this commitment through getting to know our donor community and what they believe is essential to nurturing a thriving cultural landscape."

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development from Seattle Pacific University and has worked with nonprofits for nearly a decade. When she's not at KAC, she is active in the arts community curating exhibitions with her partner Brice, hiking, or sailing.

"I am passionate about art's ability to inspire conversation, create connection, and cultivate vitality for individuals and communities alike. I believe in the work KAC is doing and I am excited to work with board, staff, and partners to expand the power of art to all."
