Alysha Umphress to Perform at Iridium Jazz Club, 2/28

Scott Barbarino and Barry Levitt will present XL Star Winner Alysha Umphress in an upcoming concert at Iridium Jazz Club (1650 Broadway at 51st St.) on Wednesday, February 28th for a set at 11pm.

According to press notes, Umphress wows the crowds at the weekly 'After Party,' every Friday night at The Laurie Beechman, as well as the Metropolitan Room and Joe's Pub, all in a few short months.  Alysha's set starts at 11pm, but get to the Iridium early, to catch some of her favorite singers and friends.  There are three sets before hers, Lea Cabrera and Anthony Apicella at 8pm, Amanda Brasher and Ben Roseberry at 9pm and Emily McNamara and Marla Mindelle at 10pm. Accompanied by the amazing Barry Levitt Trio, you'll hear some of New York's most seasoned & spot-on jazz musicians, backing up some of this town's best new vocalists."
