Altwies, Thone, Arndt, and Roget Lead CARNAGE at Seattle Rep in '10-'11; First Round of Season Casting Announced

The Seattle Repertory Theatre has announced casting for the upcoming 2010-2011 season. Of the 23 roles cast so far, 21 have been filled by Seattle performers, ranging from up-and-comers like Troy Fischnaller and Alexandra Tavares to long-time staples like Charles Leggett, Sea?n G. Griffin, Todd Jefferson Moore and Suzanne Bouchard. Additionally, five of the eight directors are local, as are many of the designers.

"Seattle has been my artistic home for the last ten years," Manning said. "I know well the talent that we have here, and it's exciting to work on the plays in this coming season-smash Broadway and Off- Broadway hits, wonderful contemporary classics-with our own home team."

The season kicks off Oct. 1 with God of Carnage, starring Hans Altwies, Amy Thone, Denis Arndt, and Bhama Roget.

Single tickets go on sale Aug. 24 online at www.seattlerep.org or through the Box Office at 206-443- 2222 (Toll-free 1-877-900-9285). Prices start at $15 (or $12 for ages 25 and under). Season tickets are available now.
