The Mason Street Warehouse in Saugatuck, MI has announced its 2007-2008 season.

Altar Boyz will have its regional premiere at the theatre, June 22 – July 8.  "The Altar Boyz are on the last night of their 'Raise the Praise' tour, trying to save every soul in the audience with their high-energy, rafter-raising style of singing and dancing," state press notes.  The show features a book by Kevin Del Aguila, music  and lyrics by Gary Adler & Michael Patrick Walker, and is conceived by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport, and directed and choreographed by Kurt Stamm.

Nicky Silver's The Food Chain, directed by Sam Buggeln, runs July 13 – July 29.  "Social satire meets absurdist comedy in the off-Broadway hit. The Food Chain centers on the actions of a neurotically thin poet, her closed-mouthed husband, a 'delicious' male model, his food-'junkie' stalker and a wacky crisis hotline volunteer."  The show is for mature audiences.

From August 3 – August 19, Lucky Stiff will be presented.  The show is "a zany, offbeat, and very funny musical mystery farce about an unassuming English shoe salesman who stands to inherit a fortune if he carries out the ridiculous requirements of his long lost uncle's will."  The musical has book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, music by Stephen Flaherty, and is based on "The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo" by Michael Butterworth.  The production will be directed and choreographed by Kurt Stamm.

Shout! will have its regional premiere August 24 – September 9.  "With its irresistible blend of infectious and soulful pop anthems and ballads, psychedelic dances and eye-popping sets and costumes, this Mod Musical will make you want to throw your head back and Shout!"  The touring LLC production is presented in association with Mason Street Warehouse.

The Mason Street Warehouse is located in the Bertha Krueger Reid Theatre at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, 400 Culver Street, Saugatuck, MI.  Visit www.masonstreetwarehouse.org for more information.
