GIRLS OF SUMMER - a themed group exhibition will be on view at Allouche Gallery in the Meatpacking District starting June 29th. The artwork that will be on display depicts exclusive representations of femininity, and each piece gives a perspective of the diverse representations of women in contemporary art.

Fourteen artists give us fourteen different visions, from social activist, to rebel, to introspective, to fun, to fierce, to playful, to grim, etc. Some of the different techniques that will be shown include paintings, block prints, sculptures, collages, drawings, and photographs.

Featured Artists: Katrina Andry, b., Ray Caesar, FAILE, Nick Georgiou, John John Jesse, Rusudan Khizanishvili, Jessica Lichtenstein, Ryan McGinness, Masha Rudenko, Sorayama, Swoon, Jacques Villegle, Wang Keping.
