Produced by Geoffrey Soffer, the reading will be directed by Elizabeth Lucas and star two-time Tony-nominee Alison Fraser (The Secret Garden, Romance/Romance), Michael Arden (Bare, Big River), Sara Chase (the Boston production of Bat Boy), JOHN HERRERA (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Man of La Mancha) and Celia Keenan-Bolger (William Finn's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). Musical direction is by Vadim Feichtner (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, William Finn's Elegies, William Finn's Infinate Joy)

In THE UNAUTHORIZED AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF SAMANTHA BROWN, Sam, a senior in high school, has what everyone always wanted: a boyfriend who loves her, functional parents and an acceptance letter to the school of her choice. And since she's moving to New York City she doesn't even need the driver's license she's too chicken to get. So she doesn't need to be worried. And she doesn't need to be happy. Right?

Brian Lowdermilk, recent recipient of the Richard Rodgers Award and 2005 Jonathan Larson Musical Theatre Fellow, has written Transient Days, The Wheel, RED and The Woman Upstairs, which was recently presented as part of the first New York Musical Theatre Festival and starred Alison Fraser and Kate Shindle. He is a member of the BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and an alumnus of the New Dramatists Composer-Librettist Studio. For more information, please visit www.brianlowdermilk.com
