The three Stockton sisters (Heather Lind, Jennifer Mudge, Alicia Silverstone) are witty, brilliant, beautiful - and a total mess, thanks to the legacy of their complicated novelist father. In Melissa Ross' new play, these women gather at their family home on Cape Cod for a summer weekend. Their reunion ignites passions, humor, and wildly unanticipated upheavals. MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow helmsOf Good Stock, Ross' raw, poignant and hilarious look at the fun and dysfunction of that thing we call family.
Special thanks to The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust for supporting Manhattan Theatre Club. Additional support for Of Good Stock is provided by The Blanch and Irving Laurie Foundation.
The creative team for the new production of Of Good Stock will include: Santo Loquasto (scenic design), Tom Broecker (costume design), and Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design).
