Known for his influence on the Dada and Surrealist movements, Man Ray was also an American expat who spent most of his career in Paris. This latest exhibition of his work-photography, paintings and other multimedia pieces included-explores how Man Ray reinvented himself, and how issues of identity are central to the analysis of his artistic vision.
The Alias Man Ray exhibition is open until March 14 at the Jewish Museum.The Jewish Museum is located at 1109 5th Avenue in New York.
