Alexa Vega To Release 'Lost In Your Own Life' On Hollywood Records 6/30

On June 30th, Hollywood Records will release "Lost In Your Own Life", the new single from actress/singer Alexa Vega, star of the upcoming ABC Family series Ruby & the Rockits (premiering July 21 @ 8:30p).
Making her acting debut at age four, Vega got her start in TV but is best known for her role in the successful Spy Kids movie trilogy. Her singing credits include the Spy Kids soundtracks as well as the indie-slasher movie REPO! The Genetic Opera. Vega also took a turn on Broadway playing Penny Pingleton in Hairspray in 2007.
With a musical theme to the show, Vega can expect to gain valuable advice on-set from co-stars David Cassidy ("The Partridge Family") and Patrick Cassidy ("Smallville") - along with Ruby's executive producer Shaun Cassidy.
"Lost In Your Own Life" will be available on iTunes and other digital retailers June 30th and is slated to premiere during the first episode of the Ruby & the Rockits series.
