An industry reading of Far From Canterbury will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 3 PM and Friday, October 19th at 11 AM in New York City. Far From Canterbury is a new musical with Book, Music, and Lyrics by Danny K Bernstein.

A reimagined telling of "The Wife of Bath's Tale" of Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, Far From Canterbury takes us to a world where fairy tales are considered current events, and tells the story of a shy young knight who will be sentenced to death, unless in one year, he can answer one simple riddle: "What is it that women desire most?"

FAR FROM CANTERBURY is being presented as a private industry reading in October 2018. The reading will feature direction by Charlie Johnson, music direction and arrangements by Jeff Cox, associate music direction by Jeff Theiss, Sound Design by Shannon Slaton, with Jason Brouillard as Stage Manager, Julie Soto as Assistant Stage Manager, and General Management by Benjamin Simpson and Joseph Longthorne of SL Theatricals.

Industry may send ticketing requests to CanterburyRSVP@SLTheatricals.com.
