World-famous theater district entertainment destination Don't Tell Mama will continue to showcase the top comedic talent New York City has to offer. The Friday night shows are at 9:30PM.
Don't Tell Mama's sold out premier on Black Friday was a massive success, an audience of theatergoers, Don't Tell Mama regulars and tourists filed in together to enjoy a top-notch lineup of seasoned club acts and talented up-and-comers. The December 7th show continued this series with a pre-show by Don't Tell Mama mainstay the Rigano Songbook, and host Gianmarco Soresi, who entertained with not only his excellent stand-up routine but also a stunning rendition of "On the Street Where You Live" from the musical, My Fair Lady. Comedian Chrissie Mayr also entertained musically with an original parody of RENT's "Seasons of Love", "How do you measure what you've spent on improv?" she belted to a jolly crowd.
Since 1982, Don't Tell Mama has presented artists of all kinds who have gone on to the world stage and won multiple Emmys, Tonys, Grammys, Oscars, and even a Pulitzer Prize! Jim Gaffigan, Aziz Ansari, Joy Behar, Leah Delaria, Seth Rudetsky and Alec Mapa are all celebrated comics who have appeared regularly at Don't Tell Mama through the years.
