The After Party, which has been nominated for a 2008 MAC Award for Variety Production/Recurring Series tonight, March 28th,  Mamma Mia's Carey Anderson, Maxine Leinehan and the cast of The Ghosts of 14th Street

Carey Anderson is currently playing "Sophie" in the Broadway production of Mamma Mia. When not looking for her three potential dads 8 times a week, Carey has been working on new projects and readings like EVER AFTER, PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK and
PRIDE and PREJUDICE. She just finished a run of Craig Carnelia's LIFE ON EARTH at The Laurie Beechman

Maxine Linehan received her training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic in both Musical Theatre and Drama and also holds a law degree from The University of London. She established The Alloy Theater Company in 2007. The 2008 inaugural season of this exciting new company will commence with a long awaited revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's cult musical Tell Me On A Sunday at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

The cast of The Ghosts of 14th Street Theater for the New City's production of The Ghosts of 14th Street is set in New York City in 1908, when 14th Street was the Entertainment capital of the city. In the Biograph Film Studio, the actors film scenes of a primitive one-reeler, while between takes they reveal their dreams, fall in love, betray each other, practice routines they hope will take them to live theater, and go through many of the same emotions they express in the film. A husband and wife acting team are foced to scandal to work in the "flickers," an immigrant housekeeper leaves her gangster husband from an arranged marriage, a dancer finds love at the gay hangout, while his sister laments her unrequited love for the housekeeper, an African-American dancer refuses to perform in blackface, and two stagehands are determined to win the New York Times Limerick Contest. In the Olympic Theatre, the play replicates a typical evening of Vaudeville, including dance, comedy skits, and female mimickry as well as the finished film. The cast features Jocelyn Adams, Dan Burkarth, Robert Gonzales, Jr., Larray Grimes, Matt Lara, Victoria Levin, Dan McVey, Jake Nicholson, Mallory Portnoy and Kyle Wood.

The party is hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress and features Lisa Asher and Ray Fellman at the piano. The After Party is located at the West Bank Cafe, 407 W 42nd Street @ 9th Avenue.www.westbankcafe.com
