Actors Technique NY Offering Weekend Acting and Singing Classes for Kids, Teens, And Adults Beginning 9/26-27

Actors Technique NY announces a new slate of fall classes that will take place on the weekends and aimed primarily at children and teenagers, although some classes are available for adults as well.  The classes will kicj off with a September Weekend Kids-Teen Acting on September 26th & 27th.  Friendly payment plans are available upon request by callling 917 763 1777. Classes are offered in TV & Film Acting Technique, Casting Director Audition Technique, Musical Theatre, and Acting for Tots.

This series of classes is designed to strengthen the actor with honest & believable acting. Don't put the cart before the horse, learn to do great things with copy before you try to wow casting directors. We emphasize beat and thought changes, realism, actor creativity and learning to "live" your character. This level should be mastered before moving on to Level II. Actors need many levels and colors in their reads. Learn to see the copy quicker and make stronger choices. Our Coaches and Casting Director will expect more from actors who have taken level I classes.We emphasize the Meisner Technique and the ability to react moment-to-moment without anticipation, as well as learning to take the actor "outside of their heads." We avaluate your book as Jamibeth takes you to where you must be to audition. We emphasize learning to tell the story and really improving your audition technique. Michelle Lookadoo, Broadway's current Little Mermaild, will teach 3 classes, prepare and hone you to master the basic steps necessary in musical theatre auditions.
