The Actors' Fund's Auction of 1000 Stars will begin on Monday, July 24th.  All proceeds will benefit the Actors' Fund.

Those interested may now preview mini-auction of entertainment memorabilia online now (click here to bid on select items).

The auction will offer "extravagant celebrity experiences and memorabilia from every corner of the entertainment world (that) will be on sale to the highest bidder!," state press notes.  Among the events up for auction are a meeting with Oscar-winner Meryl Streep, dinner with Natasha Richardson and Liam Neeson, and a debut in a Broadway musical.  Bidders will also have the chance to win VIP tickets to the 2006 Grammys, the next Tony Awards, film premieres and more, as well as unique autographed entertainment memorabilia.

The Actors' Fund, which was founded in 1882, is a non-profit organization that provides for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals. Some of the many programs The Actors' Fund provides include a nursing home and assisted living care facility; senior and disabled programs; mental health services; chemical dependency services; entertainment industry assistance programs; the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative; the AIDS Initiative; and supportive housing on both coasts.
