The Actors' Fund has announced a number of upcoming Special Performances benefiting the organization.
There will be a Special Performance of Chicago on Sunday, March 11th at 2 PM. Starring Bebe Neuwirth as Roxie Hart (she won a Tony for playing Velma), Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre (219 West 49th Street). A Special Performance of the classic backstage musical A Chorus Line, with a score by Marvin Hamlisch and Ed Kleban, and book by James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante, will be performed on Sunday, March 25 at 7:30 pm at the Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Tickets are $111.25 / $86.25. Ask about special group rates to parties of 15 or more.
Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning musical biography of the Four Seasons, will play a Special Performance on Sunday, April 15, 8 pm at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52ndStreet). Tickets are $500* / $121.50 / $96.50. The $500 tickets include Prime Orchestra or Front Row Mezzanine seating, and Ticket to the Pre-Performance Party, hosted by Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young. $300 of ticket purchase tax-deductible.
