The Actors' Fund's Auction of 1000 Stars, which began on Monday, July 24th, continues, with all proceeds to benefit the Actors' Fund. However, some individual auctions are closing.The auction for dinner with Natasha Richardson and Liam Neeson ends on August 12th, as do auctions offering bidders the chances to make Broadway debuts inRent, Mamma Mia!, The Phantom of the Opera, andChicago. The auction for a Broadway debut in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is open through August 17th, while the auction for a debut in The Producers continues through August 18th. The auction for four tickets to the Grammy Awards is also open through August 12th.Other auctions include: dinner in New York with Tim Robbins, watching the batting practice of the New York Mets and attending a game, VIP opening night and cast party tickets to bothGrey Gardenswith Christine Ebersole and The Vertical Hour with Julianne Moore.The

professionals. Some of the many programs The Actors' Fund provides
include a nursing home and assisted living care facility; senior and
disabled programs; mental health services; chemical dependency
services; entertainment industry assistance programs; the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative; the AIDS Initiative; and supportive housing on both coasts.
