Actors' Fund Annual Gala May 23 Honors Berlind, Newman and McGuire

The Actors' Fund of America will hold their annual, star-studded black-tie gala dinner and tribute performance on Monday, May 23, 2005 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

This year's honorees include Producer Roger Berlind– who will received The Actors' Fund Medal of Honor, legendary Performer and founder of The Actors' Fund's Women's Health Initiative, actress Phyllis Newman will receive The Actors' Fund Tom Dillon Humanitarian Award, and Senior Advisor to the Screen Actors Guild, John McGuire, will received The Actors' Fund Nedda Harrigan Logan Award. The event is being chaired by The Actors' Fund of America's President, Brian Stokes Mitchell.

"This event is the highlight of the year for us," states Joseph P. Benincasa, The Fund's Executive Director, "because we are able to honor a legendary Broadway Producer, a true entertainment legend, and a gentleman who has made a tremendous impact in the lives of people who work in the entertainment industry."
