AUDIO: Listen to Full NEWSIES Cast Album!

Newsies, the new American musical, just opened at the Nederlander Theatre (208 W 41st St) for a strictly limited performance run following its critically-hailed stint at Paper Mill Playhouse last fall. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the cast recorded the original Broadway cast recording earlier this month, and the album is currently available for pre-order on iTunes (release date 4/10) and in hardcopy form (release date 5/15). 

WNYC is featuring a first listen of the new album, and you can check out all the tracks below!

The score includes songs from the film such as "Carrying the Banner," "Seize the Day," "King of New York" and "Santa Fe." It also features six new songs, three of which ("The Bottom Line," "That's Rich" and "Something to Believe In") have been added for the Broadway production.

The Nederlander Theatre box office will be open Monday through Saturday 10:00am - 8:00pm through March 11th. Beginning March 12th box office hours will be Monday through Saturday 10:00am - 8:00pm and Sunday 11:00am - 7:00pm.
