"This album is a long time coming. I've been doing concert after concert, and I've wanted to put something into the world that people could take with them. All the songs chosen for the EP are near and dear to me and I hope others will enjoy them," said Overcash in a statement. "We're in the heat of fundraising right now and will start an indiegogo campaign in the near future."
Also featured on the album are Carl Culley, Amanda Finch, Taylor Noble, and Josh Tolle, with Micah Burgess on guitar, Bobbie L. Crow III on cello, Alex Minier on bass, Cody Rahn on percussion, and Overcash on piano.
Overcash's music has been heard around New York City at venues such as The Highline Ballroom, Joe's Pub, The Pershing Square Signature Center, 54 Below, Birdland and (le) Poisson Rouge. His musical Boys Vs. Girls is about to hold a concert performance of the piece on March 23 at (le) Poisson Rouge, and his other shows Joe, Rhapsody, and 13 Miles are all in development.
