Jeff Marx, the Tony and Grammy winning co-creator of Avenue Q recently debuted his latest song, titled 'The Hustler Store.' Check it out below!

On his inspiration, Marx told BroadwayWorld: "It was totally just for fun. I love The Hustler Store's friendly, relaxed attitude about not being weird about sex, so I wrote and recorded a song about it.

I had such a great time singing 'You Have More Friends Than You Know' in the studio with producer Tom Bahler, so I wrote this one and did it with a big 41 piece live orchestra like The Carpenters might have done. I love this sound and working in the studio, and I want to do more stuff like this. I don't know - maybe there's a solo album in the works?"

Jeff Marx is best known for co-writing AVENUE Q, which has music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Marx, book by Jeff Whitty, and was directed by Jason Moore. The show was the winner of three 2004 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score (Messrs. Lopez and Marx) and Best Book of a Musical (Mr. Whitty), AVENUE Q became an overnight sensation on Broadway in July 2003, having transferred to the John Golden Theatre from a wildly successful, extended and sold-out engagement Off-Broadway produced by Vineyard Theatre and The New Group. The show is now back Off-Broadway, running at New World Stages.

Earlier this year, a new song by Mervyn Warren and Tony winner Jeff Marx titled "You Have More Friends Than You Know" premiered on GLEE. The song was written for a show centered around the "It Gets Better" campaign and can be heard here.
