ARROW Star Shares Image of New Superman Suit for CW Crossover Event

Stephen Amell, who plays ARROW on The CW television series, took to Twitter to share an image of Superman's new suit in the upcoming Arrow-verse crossover event on The CW. The picture shows Grant Gustin, who plays The Flash, Tyler Hoechlin, who plays Superman, and Amell together while filming for the event. See the tweet below!

CW has revealed the backdrop for this year's crossover event. The three-night event kicks off Sunday, December 9 on the network. SUPERGIRL, ARROW, and THE FLASH are featured in this crossover, "Elseworlds."

Also included in the event are Jeremy Davies, Ruby Rose, Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, and Cassandra Jean Amell.

Jeremy Davies will play John Deegan, a doctor at Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane in Gotham City, who might just be crazier than the inmates he treats. His machinations will draw Green ARROW (Amell), THE FLASH (Gustin) and SUPERGIRL (Melissa Benoist) to Gotham City.

The event will also introduce Ruby Rose as Batwoman, who patrols the streets of Gotham as a highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city's criminal resurgence. But don't call her a hero yet - in a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham's symbol of hope.

Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Superman in the event. The event also introduces Elizabeth "Bitsie" Tulloch as Lois Lane and Cassandra Jean Amell as Mr. Freeze's wife, Nora Fries.
