AN AMERICAN IN PARIS's Robert Fairchild and More to Dance in NYCDA's DESTINY RISING Benefit

Many of New York City and the country's most renowned dancers and dance companies are set to perform on Monday, April 18 at 7:30pm at The Joyce Theater (175 8th Avenue), where the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation will present DESTINY RISING, an evening of dance artistry to benefit the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation College Scholarship Program (which to date has awarded over $17 million in college scholarships to over 300 dancers all over the country).

Set to perform on April 18 are renowned dancers Tiler Peck and Robert Fairchild of NYC Ballet and the Broadway production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The evening will also feature special performances from prominent professional dance companies from across the United States, including The Francesca Harper Project, the Conservatory Dance Company (of Point Park University) and the Illinois' Inspire School of Dance. Some of the choreographers whose work will be showcased will include Alexandra Damiani, Anne Forrest, Ruben Graciani, Francesca Harper, Martha Nichols and Andy Pellick.

There will also be over $50k in college scholarships awarded that night.

VIP tickets to DESTINY RISING are $100 (prime orchestra ticket and a ticket to the after party), additional tickets are priced at $45 (orchestra seating) and $25 (for loge or front row orchestra seating) and can be purchased by phone at 855-692-5678 or online at www.NYCDAFoundation.net.
