ALL THAT'S GREAT Comes To Reykjavík City Theatre Tomorrow ImageReykjavík City Theatre is producing ALL THAT'S GREAT, running on the Little Stage from Sept. 21 to Sept. 23.

How does a young son respond to the dark thoughts of his mother? Of course, he lives up to a list of everything that's great in the world and makes life worth living: Ice cream, the yellow color, Kung Fu-pictures, water strokes, can watch TV, people like this, roller coaster ... Twenty years ago Later, the young boy's list is fully valid, and for a long time it's a reminder that joy is not least found in things that seem trivial.

Valur Freyr Einarsson stands alone in the role of a man who makes an end to the melancholy and the way of life, with the help of the audience and the good to the weapon, and, in the process, captures a story of love, sorrow and ice-cream. The author is Duncan MacMillan, the one who wrote the works Breath and People, places and objects that hit the City Theater last year. This simple yet ingenious piece of work has been launched around the world, and has received very good criticism from critics as well as the audience, and appears here in the translation of Kristín Eiríksdóttir.
