On April 4, 2014 Adrift (Hoes on the High Seas), a comedy by Michelangelo Alasa' returns to DMAC for 7 more weeks.

Camp is back at DMAC with the hilarious Adrift (Hoes on the High Seas). The story of the infamous Rivoli Girls, Maria, Maribel, Marisol and Marijuana as they leave their lives of sin, sex and self deception "working" at the notorious Rivoli Nightclub in 1965 Havana Cuba and set off aboard a raft to pursue life, liberty and rich husbands in America. The ladies are joined on their trip to freedom by stowaways, Mario the Nazi stage manager and Antonio, their manager, lover and pimp. Featuring Antonio Minino, Rafael A. Pacheco, Alexandra Perlwitz, Kat Radin, David Stallings. Written and directed by Michelangelo Alasa'. Pre-show flirting with the Rivoli girls while they serve complimentary Cuba Libres (rum and coke.)

Michelangelo Alasa' was born in La Habana, Cuba. As an actor he worked on National Tours of HAIR, Jesus Christ, Superstar, Godspell, Tommy and performed at Duo Theater for 520 performances in the musical cult hit Born To Rumba - which he wrote and directed. His musical, Chez Garbo ran at Duo for 320 performances. His musicals with long time collaborator David Welch include Studio, Salon, and Peggy & Jackson (Peggy Guggenheim and Jackson Pollack), which was presented by Joseph Papp at the Public Theatre. He is the twice recipient of the Oscar B. Cintas Playwriting Award. Other works include All About Meat - which just completed a one year run at DMAC. He is currently performing his one man show Confessions of a Cuban Sex Addict.
