According to the New York Times, Broadway producer Daryl Roth is currently working on bringing a handful of shows to the Great White Way. Roth revealed in a newletter that she's currently casting for a stage adaptation of John Grisham's 'A Time to Kill, ' and is working on bringing David Hyde Pierce's 'It Shoulda Been You' to a Broadway stage.
Additionally, Roth is organizing a workshop for Abigail Pogrebin's 'Stars of David.' The musical will feature a book by Charles Busch.

Early last year, A Time to Kill, the world premiere and first stage adaptation of a novel by John Grisham had its premiere at Arena Stage in DC. A Time to Kill depicts a Mississippi town's upheaval when Carl Lee Hailey takes the law into his own hands following an unspeakable crime committed against his daughter. Now on trial for murder, Carl Lee's only hope lies with one young, idealistic lawyer Jake Brigance, who is outmatched by the formidable district attorney, Rufus Buckley, and under attack from both sides of a racially divided city.
