The Freemans Sporting Club expanded into Williamsburg with the opening of Barber & Supply. Unlike their Manhattan outposts of F.S.C's, Baber & Supply is over 1,500 square feet with plenty of light flooding in.

Sam Buffa, the company's founder, built the new store out of a former garage space. The aesthetic is deliberately modern and airy, he says. "It's not like you walk through the door and you're transported to the early 1900s. It's still a warehouse, so it needs to embody that attitude."

The services offered are the same as Manhattan: a haircut is $40, a straight razor shave is $40, and a beard trim is $15. But there's also an apothecary area in the front that houses a rotating pop-up shop. Malin & Goetz is being featured right now, which Buffa chose because it's a New York brand that has been with Freemans since its start.

New pop-ups will kick off every three months, ranging from products and accessories to food and drink. Once it's warm, Buffa plans to leave the mechanic-style garage doors open, bringing in fresh air and encouraging people to hang out on the big round bench in the center of the store.
