A RENEGADE NIGHT OF ONE ACTS Comes to FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present a Renegade Theatre presentation of A RENEGADE NIGHT OF ONE ACTS featuring plays by Vincent Pastore, Richard Vetere, and Pamela Scott. The show will run March 29-April 3 at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances Tuesday through Saturday at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets ($18/$15 students & seniors) may be purchased in advance at www.horseTRADE.info.

Renegade Theatre and FRIGID @Horse Trade come together to bring you a night of one-acts. Three strong original short plays:Mama's Chair written and directed by Vincent Pastore, Kids Menu written by Richard Vetere and directed by Vincent Pastore, andThe Heist written and directed by Pamela Scott. The evening will be curated and performed by the Renegade Theatre home team including Vincent Pastore, Maureen Van Zandt, Warren Bub and Ernest Mingione.

Vincent Pastore Broadway: Chicago and Bullets Over Broadway. Off-Broadway: Queen for a Day, Lamppost Reunion, Wild Children at The Drilling Company. TV: HBO's "The Sopranos", "Gotti", "The Practice", "Celebrity Apprentice", "General Hospital", "Blue Bloods". Film: Made, The Hurricane, Revolver, Serving Sara, and Two Family House.

Pamela Scott Won the Columbia University Alan Contini Award for Best New Play for her play The Unwrapping of Christmas, which culminated in a performance at the Irish Arts Center. Pamela has had 20 one-acts and 5 full-length plays produced in the city. Pamela has been the Producing Artistic Director of Aching Dogs Theatre Company for 19 years and has been a guest director at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, The T/ Schreiber Studio, and the Actors Studio Playwright and Directors Unit.

Richard Vetere wrote the movie The Third Miracle produced by Francis Ford Coppola starring Ed Harris. His other movies includeVigilante and The Marriage Fool (starring Walter Matthau and Carol Burnett). His plays Caravaggio, Machiavelli and One Shot, One Kill, and Gangster Apparel have been produced around the world. He is a Lifetime and Current Member of the WGA East and was elected to Council in 2012. His new novel Champagne and Cocaine comes out in May.

Maureen Van Zandt has worked on Broadway and Off- Broadway as an actor, dancer, choreographer, director and producer. She is the co-artistic director of Renegade Theatre Company. In 2013, she co-produced and appeared in the acclaimed Broadway production of The Rascals: Once Upon A Dream, and recently played Mrs.Walker in The Who's Tommy at the Count Basie Theater. On TV, she played Gabriella Dante on The Sopranos, and Angelina on Lilyhammer. In 2014, Maureen was honored with the Count Basie Vanguard Award for lifetime contribution to the arts. She is currently co-producing the upcoming Broadway show, Piece of My Heart, and also teaching acting for dancers at the American Ballet Theatre School.

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade is a theater development group with a focus on new work that produces a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater every season. FRIGID's Resident Artist Program offers a home to a select group of Independent theater artists, pooling together a great deal of talent and energy. FRIGID New York grew out of the annual FRIGID Festival, the first and only festival of its kind in New York City to offer artists 100% of their box office proceeds, and Horse Trade Theater Group, a self-sustaining theater development and management group.
