The Exhibition By Thomas Gibbons Unlike the current and known Broadway productions of The Elephant Man, The Exhibition is a more personal look at the relationship between Sir Frederick Treves and his most famous patient, The Elephant Man "John" Merrick. This unique production is based on Sir Frederick Treves personal journal. Tormented by his inner psyche, Treves asks the question, did he really help Merrick or continue to put him on exhibition?
Flowers for Algernon By David Rogers In 1966, author Daniel Keyes published the controversial novel Flowers for Algernon. In this one act adaptation, audiences follow Charlie Gordon, a 32 year old intellectually disabled man, the first human test subject for a surgery designed to boost his intelligence. Actor Matt de Rogatis was handpicked by Award Winning, Cannes Film Director, and Television and film actor Joe Rosario to play both The Elephant Man "John" Merrick and Charlie Gordon in the same night. Joe Rosario had the idea that he wanted to cast one actor to play both of these demanding and extremely different roles which producers considered a risk. However, after seeing de Rogatis' work as "Ken" in RED, Rosario was confident he could pull this off. Aside from the challenge posed to de Rogatis, Rosario faces a similar test. In the same night he is asked to direct two very different works with completely different casts as well as being the architect of this unique theatrical event. The Producer Adam Roebuck, known for his Broadway investments, theatre company and singing and acting studios in New York City, loved this out of the box idea and decided to bring these two wonderful works to an intimate theatre setting.
