The Tony Award-winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, is the latest Broadway show to implement a new digital lottery, allowing potential audience members to purchase $42 day-of tickets through online entry. A limited quantity of lottery tickets to each performance will be available beginning on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 through lottery.agentlemansguidebroadway.com. One entry per person (no age restrictions), with two tickets per winner. The entry period for a given performance will be from the curtain time of the previous performance until 3.5 hours prior to the curtain of the desired performance date. Tickets are subject to availability and may be partial view. Entrants will be notified 3 hours prior to the performance that they have won, and must pick up and pay for their tickets no later than 30 minutes prior to the performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre box office (219 West 48th Street).

The existing rush ticket policy for Gentleman's Guide will also remain in place, offering $42 tickets on the day of each performance for patrons aged 35 and under, available in-person at the box office only.

The announcement of the digital lottery coincides with the recent announcement that original Gentleman's Guide cast member Bryce Pinkham will return to his Tony-nominated performance as scheming heir Monty Navarro beginning Tuesday, July 28, 2015, reuniting with Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays.

Gentleman's Guide tells the uproarious story of Monty Navarro, a distant heir to a family fortune who sets out to jump the line of succession, by any means necessary. All the while, he's got to juggle his mistress (she's after more than just love), his fiancée (she's his cousin but who's keeping track?), and the constant threat of landing behind bars! Of course, it will all be worth it if he can slay his way to his inheritance... and be done in time for tea. The Hollywood Reporter raves, "Gentleman's Guide restores our faith in musical comedy" and The New York Times calls it "Hilarious!" and cheers, "it will lift the hearts of all those who've been pining for what sometimes seems a lost art form." Time Out New York declares, "Gentleman's Guide is the undisputed king of musical comedy!"

A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder launches its First National Tour in September 2015, as previously announced. The tour route includes stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Washington DC, and Toronto, among many other markets.

The most celebrated musical of the 2013-14 Broadway season, Gentleman's Guide Gentleman's Guide opened at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre to overwhelming critical acclaim on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

It eventually received a leading ten 2014 Tony Award nominations, eventually winning four awards: Best Musical, Direction of a Musical, Book of a Musical, and Best Costume Design. In addition, it won the Best Musical prizes from the Drama League, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle, and received a 2015 Grammy Award nomination for Best Musical Show Album. The Broadway production holds the house records at the Walter Kerr Theatre for both the highest single-week gross ($1,062,740.60 over eight performances on the week ending December 28, 2014) and total cumulative gross, which now stands at nearly $60 million. In April 2015, Gentleman's Guide announced the recoupment of its entire Broadway production capitalization.

Tickets, priced from $42-$147, are on sale via telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200 / (800) 447-7400. Tickets are also available for purchase in person at the Walter Kerr Box Office (219 W. 48th Street).
